    Nothing wrong with buying players, all the big teams do it all the time as they've got the money so why can't they? The thing is though that this is really some ridcuilous high amount of money, surely players aren't worth that much? But then again in a business prospective i'm sure they'll be able to make that cash back if he does deliver, but the only way he's going to do that is by having other world class players support him.

    It can only be good for football on the whole - the Abu Dhabi group are piling money into the game that will end up benefiting EVERY club in Europe. It's going to re-shape the economics of football for the better and it will change the way clubs work and it will greatly benefit the national teams in the long run.

    Good on City - do a better job than Chelsea did.
