So, he's got a soft spot for you, that doesn't mean he's going to take something superly serious. He might just be saying it to make you feel special, which is fair do's as it sounds like he likes you.

But, to be perfectly honest, the whole nervous thing is part of the fun of it! If you weren't as nervous, you wouldn't be as excited. Adrenylin's (sp?) a good thing...

Just spend a very very very very very very long time getting ready and you'll feel a helluva lot more confident. And just think, if he does go silent on you he's not exactly the best guy to be on a date with, looks aren't everything :/

I think everyone gets nervous when they first start dating it is because you both still need to get used to one another and get used to him and the way he acts, the nerves will go away over time of dating him, just relax and enjoy the dates because when it is time to meet the parents that will be real nerves!
