I done my work experience in a leisure centre, a part of it was working in the gym and they let me go on some machines when it wasn't busy. I mainly went on the treadmill and muscle building ones. My favourite one was the back one where you did like crunches and it tones your back too. I enjoyed it but its a killer and doing it for a few days, like everything for about an hour of my time by the end of the week i ran up a big flight of stairs with my friends messing about at the local shopping centre and i wasn't the smallest bit out of breath whereas i usually would, I plan to go back and start doing weights.
My main concern though is that I don't want to go in the gym and start on tiny weights.
Wow, huge essay lol.

Now I bet that feeling and seeing the gain you got from even a week was really uplifting wasn't it? You should go back on a frequent basis as it sounds like you have a great metabolism and the potential to be quite muscly. Everybody has had to start somewhere mate, I started at lifting 2, 2.5kg dumbells for 100 reps lol.For my life story read everything, For question skip to bottom

Back for a while.
I might give it a try then, or i could purchase some small ones and start at home until i feel decent enough to go to the gym lol. My brother is huge also, cos he works at the leisure center, imo i think hes over the top with it but yeah, hes got protein shakes and stuff so he could help.
i think the worst thing is the diet. i HATE tuna.

Sounds good. Don't be ashamed to go to the gym as I assure you, there will be a few anorexic people lifting 1kg weights and complaining that their arms are falling off.I might give it a try then, or i could purchase some small ones and start at home until i feel decent enough to go to the gym lol. You don't need to eat tuna. You can eat a variety of raw meats or even cooked meats such as:
Beef.
Chicken.
Turkey.
Gamon.
Pork.
Duck (great for protein.)
Tuna.
Any type of fish.
You can also eat nuts. Nuts are packed with protein and mono-saturated fats which can actually help you lose them extra pounds.
Back for a while.

Your friend isn't too bad! He's got a decent size bicep and traps but he needs to work on his back and triceps more![]()
