Well seeing how the series are made and produced in japan and in japanese. and thats the way it was intended to be seen. If people in other countries want to watch series yes i think all dvds from other countires should be subbed. My opinion, dosent make me an idiot.

And as ive also said i do watch dubs aswell. but i always watch the subbed aswell. as ive said Funimation do wonderful dubbing with some of there shows. But for people who complain about not wanting to sit and read subs is in my opinion lazy. Most people can read and watch at the same time.. if your busy doing other things your not watching it then.

Also. been watching the baki the grappler dub but ive had the subs on. and ive also done that for one piece and dbz. Dubs always change things aswell so i guess i would prefer to watch the origional aswell. I have nothing against dubs. Just have a problem with people that use reading subs as an excuse.

Axel: Only repeats havent showed anything past 100 i think. normaly check when i get back from work on sundays. and america have finished it.. dont think shippuuden is being played on CN in the US now anyway. Think CN wanted to get rid of anime from there network.

That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

Yeah, action tends to get very boring and reptitive after a while, yet there is so much of it. You might like Baccano. I've just watched the first seven episodes non-stop and I'm hooked. It's extremely interesting, story, characters, setting, everthing... and the way it's all pieced together is very Pulp Fiction like. It's not set in Japan either, which is a breath of fresh air. Infact, it's pretty much all original.

Also, yeah Naruto is on Jetix. If I remember correctly, Toonami was owned by Cartoon Network when it was still alive back in the day, and they showed a ton of classics. Transformers, Dragon Ball Z, Ultimate Muscle n'all. So Cartoon Network were actually good with their selection.

There really is no need for dubbing in my opinion.

You can't have watched much anime then. The appeal is huge and the selection of decent anime is almost endless.

Also to OP, just take a look at the 'Top Anime' page on MyAnimeList. Pretty much everything there is fantastic.
    http://myanimelist.net/topanime.php

Also, whats the point in avoiding Bleach at the moment because it's over 200 episodes? It's only going to get longer.

Well the point in watching something is that you actually watch it. If you're doing all those other things, you're obviously watching everything but anime.

I open up 2 internet browsers and make them half size each use it like that I can still see whats going on

I did that once when I pulled an all-nighter to complete my college project last year. I needed something to keep me awake, so I watched Dragon Ball Z. Still, I was only really listening to it. It's hard to watch and work.

It's made in Japan, so the language will be in Japanese, it wasn't made that way because they wanted it to be Japanese, they made it in Japanese because it's made FOR the Japanese public, they're not gonna make anime in English are they?

That's why you'll see an English movie, dispite where it is set the majority of the main characters will always speak English, whether it makes sense or not.

I don't mind the mix of action and other things, FMA is good for action as it's not the focus of it.

Toonami or CNX, whatever you wanna call it used to show Outlaw Star, that was certainly not aimed at children, was only shown from like 10PM till early morning, that was the first anime I really got into I think.

Shame Toonami went, I used to watch Transformers, Outlaw Star and the Dragonball series' all time.

Well nothing is focused entirely on action, there are always other aspects to it. Baccano has action in it as well as many other things.

Nothing is focused entirely on it but most things pick it as the major element, I'd say Bleach is like 85% action.
