It would have never have been ruined, though, if you had just kept your thoughts to yourself for just this once. There are some posts which just aren't worth in expressing your true opinions, and whilst you see this as a Forum so that you can express your opinions, it sometimes isn't best for the views of others, resulting in conflicts and arguments, thus breaking the set rules.

Leave it at this. Navigate away from the thread, and accept that, although there are thousands of people out there suffering from cancer, they all deserve sympathy, and whilst Jade hasn't been the most popular celebrity, she's (unfortunately) made it on to the front pages - may have been out of her control, who knows - I wouldn't be surprised if most days she had the press following her.

I don't care what anyone has said about her, if you watch her, she is quite a nice girl. It is a horrible thing cancer and being told your dying at 27 isn't nice for anyone... regardless if you like them or not.

I don't like or dislike her. And you haven't met her in real life, and I doubt nobody on this forum has, neither have I so you can't say she's a nice person because you've seen her on whatever TV show you've seen her on, she wouldn't wanna come across as a complete ***** on TV would she? :rolleyes:

Say what you want, but you may aswell be saying it to everyone else aswell. They don't care really. When someone dies you get crowds of people just saying "R.I.P" then getting on with their lives. It isn't caring, they don't actually mean "Rest in peace" it's justa plea for brownie points.
At the end of the day, I don't much care for mass appreciation for someone who isn't all that important (or that brilliant) simply because they're dying. If you asked these people a year ago what they thought about Jade Goody, it'd all be negative "racist cow" stuff. Their opinion's only changed because this news has influenced them.
She won't be rememberred for being a great person, apart from by The Sun for selling them a few extra papers and getting them a bit more traffic on their website.

If you cannot understand that, I offer the same advice: take your head out of your arse. You are trolling for no other purpose than self-gratification from drawing up the attention of other members.

I need to show her respect. It's not like she's going to be reading this or would it effect me if she was.

Also, alot of people in this thread are stuckup their own arses and are all followers. Messageboards are supposed to be places where freedom of speech is allowed.

I am not a follower of Jade Goody. My feelings toward her are indifferent. As to what she does on a day to day basis, I really don't care. I don't care if she has gone shopping in Iceland and is in a new magazine. I really don't care. But when it comes to discussing a terminal illness, it's disgusting to ridicule it.

I'm not usually any good at determining character, but I'm glad this time I got it right. You really wouldn't show respect for anyone. You cannot argue that you are both showing indifference and not trolling.

You are a special child who can read selectively. I have already highlighted this point you made: "She was an annoying fame begger before she had cancer and she still is equally annoying, the only difference now is she's got a good (or bad whatever you wanna call it) reason for being in the papers." That is ridiculing, believe it or not.

In which case you shouldn't have the right to access the Forum, in my opinion anyway. I explained myself as to why it's sometimes best not to post your true thoughts, as it can sometimes break the set forum rules. Now judging from your other arrogant views, I'd go along the lines of that you don't care either about the forum rules.

If you don't wish to be seen as ridiculing, you should pick your words more carefully. If your intention wasn't to imply that you thought she has "a good reason for being in papers" (which is lower than black humour), then you should read what you write before you press submit.
