    Default AMD or Intel

    Yup making anther new computer. but should i go AMD? here is what i need help with


    If you say intel what should i get out of

    CPU.
    E8400 or Q8200

    MB.
    ASUS P5Q-Pro or ASUS P5Q SE/R

    If you say AMD what should i get out of

    CPU.
    Phenom x4 9950 or AM2 x2 6000+

    MB.
    What Asus motherboard is the best for this?

    Not anymore, Phenom II is now a viable alternative, and performs and apparently overclocks very well.

    Phenom II is a good alternative if you're looking for a cheap, decent quad core. I may get one soon
