MB.
ASUS P5Q-Pro or ASUS P5Q SE/R
If you say AMD what should i get out of
CPU.
Phenom x4 9950 or AM2 x2 6000+
MB.

Phenom II is a good alternative if you're looking for a cheap, decent quad core. I may get one soon
