also, I thought aslong as you removed links to hxf from habbox the rules didn't count as habboxforum is a seperate url?

All rules apply to official and unofficial fansites, sulake trying to keep a hold and a little power over its fansites. Pathetic really. Im just annoyed at management of all fansites curling over and letting this happen but what do you expect when the fansites are run by teens who seem to be scared to stand up and say anything.

With Habbox not being able to sell VIP/extra features anymore we need to think a way around it rather than just giving up, and I have the perfect solution. We could introduce achievements. One of them could be "Achieve a coloured username" and by donating you get a coloured username. Obviously donating and achievements are 2 completely seperate things. Now, achieving certain things can give you rewards such as reputation points and many VIP features. Achieving a coloured username will reward you with a whole bundle of features and reputation points, basically what you would get if you bought VIP. And for extra fun on the forum you could add many different achievements like "reach 5000 posts", "be +repped 50 times", "have 5 refferals" etc.

Well, the only way to get a coloured username is to donate or win motm so I don't think the amount of donations would be affected by that, and the other achievements would only have small rewards, like free reputation points etc.
