I know what you mean. If I'm honest I actually like this cast a lot better. Gems like Cassie and Chris won't be replaced but I don't think it would of worked with the same cast for another season. If a cast gets replaced and the writers are still top-notch then the show stays fresh which is what Skins has successfully achieved. I was against the "drop the cast" decision initially but I see why they did it now and I'm glad they did. I just hope that they can pull it off again when the time comes to drop the current cast.

I love this cast alot better theres more action in each episode then the other ones, and I hope they dont drop this cast it will be a pain in the arse to have to remember everyones names again lol

Channel 4 have already stated that they're going to drop the cast after series four.

They'll have to drop the cast every 2 series because they're just focusing on the characters when they're in sixth form, which would only last 2 years.
I personally grew attatched to the last cast. This new one doesnt appeal to me just yet.

I felt like that at first but you'll get there and we'll all probably feel like that again when the current cast is dropped.

What is going on!? This story is the worst so far... i've never seen such rubbish.

What is with this crazy try-to-hard comedy shoved into a really overly-depressive story that seems to change course at random?

The whole "Search for the Sexxbomb" thing was just stupid. Stupid songs. Stupid acting. Stupid everything.

The story seems to be overly-depressing for Freddie but he just seems to throw away the sub-script of it? His dad PUNCHED him and the next day he acts as if nothing happened yet he seems fine to constantly attack his sister?

Half the time it seems like he hates his sister for disgracing his mum for constanlty banging on about her death but then readily accepts it and everything she took from him like it doesnt matter? Now hes apologising to THEM?!?!

It makes no sense. The story is about him being a black-sheep and he is getting a crap time but hes just taking it like its nothing and changing his mind about things.

And he randomly kisses Effy as if everything between them was that easy to sum-up. HUH???

And now hes just kissed Cook... no reason... now hes crying... just stupid.

Tonights episode was just stupid.

I thought it was the best episode of the series to date. Helped understand Freddie's character more, as he normally takes a background role.
