Just installed OS X :)

I just sort of, you know, actually bought a Mac, but welcome.

That was a very snotty thing to say, you know just as much as myself and most other Mac users do that Macs aren't cheap and are just not everybody's thing due to the over-priced hardware within. The only reason I buy Mac's is the design.

Well come to OS X =]. What specs did your computer have? I want to install this on my home PC.

You can remove the battery. Apple sell new ones (for a hefty price of £97).

Yes, I was going to install it, and? Back when I first got my Mac (March08), I did think it was a bit of a tight arse way out.. but now I see its not that and its understandable, although the whole 'cost' thing is a cop out imo. I was going to install it on a old laptop, I dont see what was wrong with me planning on doing that?

The battery and RAM are user serviceable, but the HDD isn't.

Ahh... my mistake. I wasn't aware the difference between old and new MacBooks was as much as that. It's handy that the HDD is now easily serviceable.
