    Default My honest opinion...

I personally believe there is no such thing as teenage love.

    I haven't had a proper girlfriend. Ever.

But, am I mad? I mean all these songs with stuff about love and everything in it, I don't feel anything for them at all. I think its all fake, and I know it might sound harsh but lol idk, just what I reckon anyway. Anyone else feel the same? I don't know a single person who thinks the same as me. I think that girls at this age are timewasters and it never usually lasts longer than 2 weeks with most people (the people I know anyway).

It's supposed to be because teenagers are hormonally overloaded, but I haven't and most girls now believe they need a guy to make them happy which is ********. I think teenage love is just fabrication made up from the media, but meh just my opinion*

*my opinion which i am entitled to, so no one have a go. by all means you can disagree, just don't get angry about it

I think it's possible, but not in the sense where you've got teenagers walking down the streets and holding hands. If they manage to grow up together and have kids and such, then I'd say that's successful teenage love. Most of it just crashes and burns though.

yep true, most people our age have very short relationships but what's the harm in that?
i have a friend that met her boyfriend in year 8 and they've been together since, if i remember they've only split up once and c'mon 5 years, that's gotta be something. Just because people are young doesn't mean they aren't capable of falling in love but it's probably false love anyway, like innitbbs says we are apparently more likely to fall in love at our age but if you look back at it you'll just realize you were being stupid and it wasn't actual love although you might've convinced yourself it was at first

It's a good thing you're not getting caught up in serious relationships at your age, you're lucky actually, you think everythings gonna last forever and unfortunately it doesn't, atleast not in my experience.

Teenage life is for fun in my view, go out with mates, play football, games whatever and forget girls until like 18!

ino thats what i mean, im not trying to sound mean or anything. i can see were your going from when you say you dont believe it, its because you havent experienced it or even witnessed it, im not saying you should believe it i guess its up to the person. i just think before making a statement like you did you should of atleast experienced it before jumping to conclusion.
