    Default Wubi

    Hey, i download wubi for windows vista.
    But noticed i couldnt download shockwave.

    Is there anyone on here who can tell me where to get the things i need for wubi/ubuntu

    -Shockwave
    -Flash
    -Java

    ect........

    Flash, goto the Adobe flash website, www.adobe.com/getflash I think, same for shockwave... but google that link, also the same for Java lol

    Shockwave doesnt support ubuntu

    open up a terminal window and type

    sudo apt-get install wine

    after that download the Windows version of Firefox and install it (it will work). Install the Windows version of shockwave.

    Yeah Wubi did something to my bootloader and screwed it up, meaning I had to use a rescue disk.

    it should be a quick enough fix. Just rewrite the MBR from recovery console .
    I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
