If my family did get money from others it would go to cancer charities. Thus why my family does the marathon each year to raise money for cancer research. Stop being so rude :/

I'm not, it was purposeful to cause controversy and make a point: people don't like it when someone who they've known and has/had cancer gets insulted for it. It's not my fault that people can't seem to grasp the concept that celebrities are in the media eye much more than an average person, otherwise they wouldn't be a celebrity.

Possibly millions get cervical cancer every year, are they on the headlines etc? No. That's why Jade Goody is pissing everyone off, who is she? I can understand wanting to get lots of money for your children, but when they have that much money they can live of that for life - milking her illness (and she is milking, she admits she wants more publicity for her kids) isn't needed.

If anything, all this extra cash that's coming in from the publicity shoudn't go to a trust fund for her kids, it would be better suited for a charity for cancer.

i think it'll get cancer on people's minds a bit more but not for all that long. people have short attention spans. lance armstrong (a really famous bicyclist here in the u.s., idk if you guys know him) had testicular cancer about 10 years ago or so, and it was a really big deal for a while. in the early 00's he made those "livestrong" bracelets and got millions donated to cancer research, and the whole bracelet idea took off and everyone was copying it. but since, everyone's kinda just forgot about it.

its nice what the lady is trying to do, it really is, but people forget that kind of stuff really fast. it all comes down to personal responsibility, really.

I think it's good how it's showing people to get tested for cancers and stuff, but I really don't want to know her every move, it's all a bit too much. Like, basically we know what she's been doing at what times.
