    Default Cant start WLM 2009

Yeah, I know it looks like a peice of crap, but I still wanna try it

Anyway, I had 8.5 installed previously, I got a notification saying there's a new version to download, so I downloaded the installer and installed it. That was all fine, but when I go to start it up, straight away I get 'Windows Live Messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close'

I've tried re-installing, doing a system restore, selecting the 'repair' option in add/remove programs, and re-downloading it a million mother******* times. No luck

    Any ideas?

Un-install WLM 2009 by control panel if you got XP. And then re-install it.

Take it to a computer repair shop, they may fix it or use web messenger if all fails.

When I had one I just restarted and the problems faded away... Have you tried that? Just a restart. If not, see if Windows Update has any updates for it, it sometimes sends out updates for it
