Ya, likewise in Singapore. 12 May I think. :eusa_shif

I always make my mother a card. Buying a card just isn't the same.

I might get her something else, but I never really do since my mother never ask for anything. Besides, she gives me my allowance, so if I buy anything for her, it is using her own money.

I feel old for saying this, but it's actually called Mothering Sunday because it's always on a Sunday. Mother's Day is dumb Americanism that's leaked into the UK somehow. Mother's Day is on a different day. Plus Mothering Sunday isn't really meant to be commericialised like Valentines Day, you're really only meant to do stuff for her and generally honour her, bake a cake or be a slave for a day It's not like Valentines Day when you're meant to be loving to your other half all the time, a mother stereotypically does everything so one day of rest or peace is a God send

I'm not sure what to buy my mum :/ My nan is getting a tea set from Williams and Grffins.

If it was an Americanism, surely it would be Mom's day?

I haven't got nothing for my mother. I don't get money. But it's her Birthday on the 31st so I'll be getting her stuff then.
