You must need points to go up in "Leaderboards>Score".

If you get like 200xp In a game it wont matter because you cant level up no more, But your world wide score will go up aka leaderboard then score etc

Yeah, you would not level up, but you get points so your score increases?

Now on call of duty 5 you can put red or blue in your clan tag and it turns into the colour.
