- Signup for a LIVE email
- Go onto your Xbox (connect to the web)
- Then create a new gamertag or whatever it says
- Keep going through the process... then when it says do you want to buy gold, say no and choose silver... afterwards it should say that you're eligible for a 1 month gold trial
That's just off of the top of my head.

Yeh but where does it say it? It says that once ive bought my 360 i get a free month, but it doesnt say anywhere that i can actually redeem it
