Today, we have had a number of phone calls from my sisters ex and his mates. They are prank calls, simply because their 'relationship' ended. Him and his mates are saying stuff to my sister on the phone, and she wont tell us what they say and wont let us speak. I just answered it just now, and from what I gathered he said 'i will get you init' in that annoying, fake, chavvy voice. I'm sure he has been threatening my sister too. What can we do? It's getting pretty bad now. +rep

Call the police if it carries on, but he might be after your or your family if he gets arrested.

I think going to the police at first is a bit drastic. As HBK suggested, I would phone up your phone provider and get the numbers blocked. Then, if the harassment continues do as the others stated and record it and go to the police.

A similar thing happened to my friend, it was quite creepy. They knew a hell of alot about her family and stuff. They kept calling in the middle of the night. But, she just left it, and its stopped now. Just don't lower yourself to their level.

The police can issue a harassment order which won't really mean anything but will scare them a lot. So just call the police, any amount of unwanted phone calls is harassment. I got an harassment order for sending the man who beat my mum 3 text messages!!! 3!!! And wasn't even asked to stop.

Say to them: lOL MY SISTER DUMPED YOU BECAUSE YOUR WILLY IS SMALL, then phone the police and say you're distressed because they threatened to kill your family. They'll be arrested for conspiring murder.

Prank call them back like every 5 mins. They will learn their lesson. Iactually have like 30 pre-recorded prank calls, half of which usually scare everyone I have played it on cos it sounds so real.
