Default I don't know what to do.

Okay basically, my Best Friend (She's a girl) went out with my Friend (He's a boy) in Year 8. But then they had to end it cause my best friend's mum found out and made her dump him. He got her a £110 ring from H.Samuel, so as you can guess, he's pretty much in love with her. But she gave it him back. My best friend says she intends to go out with him in Year 10 or 11, but I don't think she will. My friend is going to be heartbroken because he's wasted all this time waiting for her and he'd had soo many offers. Like 6 girls all like him at once. I don't know whether I should tell him he's wasting his time or leave it. Because when he finds out, he might realise I knew that my Best Friend never intended to go out with him. Then he'll be angry with me. I'm currently in Year 9 now, so it's getting close and I'm confused! He is a really nice person and doesn't deserve this. Plus, they are two completely different people, they just act the same around each other. My Best Friend makes me and my other friend look stupid infront of him and he is just normal to us infront of her. And they're both too scared to talk to each other...

Another bad thing, people keep saying stuff about me and him liking each other because we always laugh and joke around. This makes my Best Friend all jealous.

    Help pls?

Seems a bit obvious that you should tell him, You seem good enough friends, tell him gently, it's probably the first girl he's felt serious about.

    Ok

You have no proof that she doesn't like him, surely if shes jealous she must do, why else would someone be jealous? :S! Although she could just like having power over him and might not want this messed with.
Also if you tell him she might say you're only saying it cos you like him and want him which could result in them both falling out with you, maybe ask her if she does like him on msn or something and if she says no send the logs so you can't be accused of lying
    I love it when you
    flex like that

Using my brains and reading comprehension ability, that would mean to me that the boy's in year 8 and she's in year 9. But that might just be me. The wording, such as ''Currently in year9 now'' I mean, wut. Doesnt really help.

    Who's in year 8?
    Or
When she was in year 8.

The structure, content and infomation does nothing to clearly distinquish clearly what she means, plus the great blue wall o'text doesn't help much.
