If you're 17/18/19 and learning to drive, it'll be approx £2000.
If you're 25 even without a licence, it'd be more like £700.
//ps - mini's are *okay* if you get one in good condition and with a roll cage. If you've ever been go-karting you'll know what driving a mini is like. It's pretty fun but when you're on the motorway, its frightening and when you're in town with a bus trying to shove past you, you may start to wish you'd got something more substantial.

and minis are sweet like bearing in mind they look good.. they're also fine on motorways and in town.. if anything they're actually really practical through town due to being small and agile.
if we all bought something because it was 'practical' we'd all be driving around in 4dr astras.
