More than one antivirus does slow you computer, and you don't really need more than one antivirus program anyway, just as long as it’s somewhat good, unless that is you download a hell of allot of stuff from very unsafe sources, but still any half decent antivirus would pick up any threatening viruses, so the need for more than one on your average personal computer is highly unneeded.

If you have 50 antivirus programs, they won't slow down your computer. If you have more than 1 antivirus running in realtime, it will. See the difference?

If you have 50 then your stupid tbh. No ones thinking your hard with your paragraphs and your bragging that you have 50 AV programs on your computer. Why would anyone waist all that HD space? they wouldnt .. unless their ******ed

And AVG wouldnt leave open ports in their server for 'script kiddies' to inject. It would take a lot more than a script kiddie to get in AVG, and even then, it would take agesssss.

AVG does the job, we dont download random crap like you, therefore we dont need 50 AV programs.

Does it look like I'm bragging about my AV programs? I have a good 12/15 at the most. He asked how to keep his computer clean and fast, and I gave him an answer. You come in and start typing mindless crap about stuff you don't know about, and I have to clarify it for him so he doesn't mess his computer up. Just because I can type paragraphs you get mad at me? Sad

A normal Hard Drive has around 70gb, I've seen some around 100gb. All my AV programs combined take around 1gb. It's not wasting any space. You don't know the first thing about AVG security tbh. You don't go injecting when you find an open port in their server. Go read a nice little google tutorial on hacking servers, then come back and post about what you don't know.

And as stated before, I have 12 AV programs because my company deals with highly secure information, and if any of it was leaked into the public, it could be sold for a great deal of money and we could be sued. I don't go around downloading porn and mindless crap like you do.

But as stated before, you can pick and choose what AV's you want on your computer. Mine was just a suggestion list.

    End of.

    1:
Get a decent anti virus/ anti spyware:

    Top Two
    Avast (Free)
    Eset (Paid)

    2: Get a Firewall:

    Comodo Firewall ( Free )
Not going to list a paid one, as comodo is pretty much as good as it gets.

    3:
Keep them updated, every single day new malicious code is created, to stay safe make sure it's updated to the latest version, if it isint in some cases you're better off without.

    4: Common sence

Dont download stupid things, only download what you need and know is trusted, if somone trys to send you something stupid on msn like "Hey, I Found a pic of you, Sends file "kodak_picture13.zip".

I gave a list of the programs that I had. If you knew basic numbers you could have counted them. You keep saying how dumb I am, when you're the one going around blabbing about stuff you don't know about, with improper sentences. AVG is crap, you can google the hate stories on it. They've just started to get better.

Oh, and I'm older than you, which makes me older than 10.

The AVG server that has the source code on it has so many open ports that a script kiddy could get into it. You can have as many programs on your computer as you want, it just depends on how much security you want. Lots of times 1 AV program will find a virus, and the other won't. Sometimes it takes time for 1 program to put out an update.
So your a security tech admin really? So why do you have a job at habbox as an events organiser, pretty sad tbh. If you really do work at this place you must be pretty old.

Really you have nothing better to do than have your nice fake life on here do you?

You dont need more than 1AV, zonealarm is a decent one. Protected me for years, anti virus and firewall, I paid for it but im pretty sure theres a free version available.

Zonealarm is the worst AV I've ever used. I recommend ESET Smart Security.

No actually I'm younger than 18 'Nice fake life'? What really does that mean? Lol... And you don't really need more than 1 AV. I just gave a list of AV programs that I use. And yes, I do use more than 1 AV because.., well, just read the post I wrote before. And hell yeah, zonealarm is pretty 1337.
