I really liked the dub but I'm not waiting... then again the first 20 episodes of the first anime series are very similar to the manga so dunno if they're going to remake all of them.

Why are you surprised? Maybe I phrased that badly... I didn't mean theres no need to watch the original series because it's lame or anything, I meant that theres no need to watch the original series before the new one because the new one is a different series altogether and not a sequel, so it doesn't require you to watch the original first. I know that the original series delved from the manga early on, and that the new one is going to follow the manga the whole way through. I know they are going to have different story lines. Wasn't I the one who told you that? I'll still watch the original series, so chill man. I did start it, but as I read about the episodes on wikipedia the next one I was at sounded really lame and unnecessary, so I watched something else. Then whenever I'm like 'Hey, I'll watch some FMA now!' I remember that I'm on that lame episode and don't feel like watching it anymore. I'll force myself through that episode eventually...

No, I think you just read it wrong. :8 It's episode four, and it's not like I'm reading tons of episodes ahead. I was only looking to see what the next episode was about. The series has already been spoiled for me anyway, by Axel (damn you!).

Yeah, episode four. Wow, telling me to watch it is surely going to motivate me isn't it. That episode is LAME. I've got Eureka Seven and Hajime no Ippo to watch - FMA is not my priority!
