No actually I'm younger than 18'Nice fake life'? What really does that mean? Lol... And you don't really need more than 1 AV. I just gave a list of AV programs that I use. And yes, I do use more than 1 AV because.., well, just read the post I wrote before.
And hell yeah, zonealarm is pretty 1337.
If your younger than 18, then your works pretty stupid letting a 'child' look after their security. That was a blatent lie and you've earnt no respect from saying that
Back for a while![]()
I said 'under' 18, I didn't say I was under 17 :L I'm damn well not a child, and the reason I work as an IT Tech Admin is because they realised that I knew a good deal about computer security.
Now please, if you want to continue this argument, private message me. DarkEnemy asked for advice and this thread should be for giving it to him, not me having to answer to everyone who wants to question me.

ccleaner
google it
"There are only two important days in your life: the day you are born, and the day you find out why."

If you see, I posted that first-Yawn, ok, here it goes.
First off, you'll want to delete your internet files, temps, caches.
You can do this by going into Start > Control Panel > Internet Options, and deleting them from there. You can also download ATF cleaner, which does an amazing job cleaning off the files you really don't. Last, but not least, is Ccleaner. It will clean your registry files aswell, which will make your computer faster.
Next would be getting a good antivirus program(s). Free: Avira Antivirus (AntiVirus) + Online Armor (Firewall) + Bluecoat K9 (Parental Control). Yeah, you're like PARENTAL CONTROL? You can choose what to block, like known sites that have malware and spyware. I use it mostly for that, and it works amazingly.
Other programs would be (Free):
SpywareBlaster
SpywareGuard
Spybot - Search and Destroy
SUPERantiSpyware
Ad-Aware
a-squared
Most say Spy(something), and will catch a hell of a lot of known virus' and other things you don't want on your computer.
Hope this helps! Good luck!
Edit: 500th post!![]()
That's not good, Running more than one anti virus at a time can cause problems, You're safer with one then 4.
Stick with Eset, bin the rest, or turn them off realtime detection.
When you get a warning when installing an A/V, warning you about conflicts you should take note of them, not install 50 different ones.
Apart from lagging you're pc terribly, you're going to get conflicts also.
o.o
So Laggings, your 17? No way on earth would a company that holds all this 'top secret highly secure details shiz' let a 17 year old be Tech Security Admin at a company that holds such private data, unless there really really reallyyyyyyyyy stupid.
So lets not chat crap and help this guy speed up his PC
