Agree but it was MORE worse before Callie with people able to script presents and I'm quite certain this happened before Callie... Taking over the HK was also done before that.. the kiddy scripts which included PIB's,Drinks outta thin air,etc was around C's time.. but it was worse before her take over. If your blaming Callie for the increase in loop holes for the programming you are UTTERLY BUTTERLY wrong.

Callie is certainly responsible for what fansites are today, she began honouring the official fansites and their owners by attending their events, giving them exclusive news and giving them rares and letting them become her friends. She also had the Fansite drop-in and regular Fansite Weeks. These factors encouraged people to make fansites as they wanted all these 'royalities'.

You mean to tell me that its LW's fault the throne dropped to a 45 as well during his reign? Its the habbos that determine the value... not the hotel manager.. there is more to habbo than trading and its a Hotel Managers duties to look at those as well as trading. You do know if anything you oughta be praising LW for actually releasing more than recolours right? I mean in Callie's day you had recolour after recolour and no excitement... now you have MORE than just colourful HC gates.. Heck, we've had new Xmas,Halloween,etc furniture which added excitement to the game and kept a few quitters from actually quitting!

You can't thank Lost_Witness for releasing new rares, that's down to Sulake for making the furni, when Callie was manager they didn't have the range of furni they have today. Lost_Witness has only began releasing 'new' rares in the past 2 years anyway, before then he did have new furni at his disposable but preferred to release super rare's or recolours.

Badges were brought in only recently THe best we would get was a Frigging Gold HC badge. She had less interaction compared to LW who hosts competitions,gets down and dirty with habbos along with the Asst. Manager in Public as well as Private rooms, you've got more competitions now you don't know which to take part in.

Honestly... I don't think you have your facts straight man! I'm barely hanging around habbo anymore and couldn't care less for HMs but to excessively praise Callie of all HMs is like cursing Hitler when hes there and crying when hes gone (I know shes not Hitler, its just an example.

Hmm I disagree, I'm not that supportive of Callie though my posts may suggest otherwise. Like I said, she was a victim of her own success and she's responsible for all the sucking-up etc, did that really make Habbo any better? The hotel wasn't as much back then but I personally think it was better and you'll find a huge amount of people who agree.

Perrrrrhaps but I'd say the hotel grew more currently than before, they've changed the over all performance and running as well as the GUI! I believe rollers were released around Callie's time which did give a lot of lag... ESPECIALLY the first frigging day! Was a nightmare as I remember... anyway sticking to the subject... Script programs became more popular because I can't remember but either OB(Full name not listed with obvious reasons) or someone released coding.. I forgot but someone released the coding and it became easy for people to go "Ooo looky at me! I can code a program to script habbo! Even if it does the same thing as the others I can! See! Lets all make scripted photos but let people use MY name and MY program coz then I can be 1337!" Which was I think the same time the creator of fake logins released his code for the entire web coding and a tutorial(Okay he released it first and then someone slipped the code for scripting programs).... he was a nice friendly guy! Never spoke much to him/her but observation wise he/she helped alot of people and although he didn't intend it to be used too badly it happened and not only did scripting but FL's started flooding the habbo market. (FYI for those who aren't too sure... Fake Logins are VERY VERY much different compared to Scripting...)

Not sure but could anyone answer if the worst scripting happened in Jibbi's period? I know coloured and erroring stickies was possible in Callies period.. I think coloured stickies stopped towards the end of callie or when LW started... can't remember.

Like I said, don't go to much fansites I've only ever used HXF for trading, this thread caught my eye and once in a while browse at the new pixel furni... just sticking to updates once in a while regarding habbo. I guess that Callie might have done that not sure so I can't comment much I'll have a no comments on this one.

I'd very much still blame habbox RVR for the throne increase thats almost hit the 70 or 80 mark... forgot which. I think its ALMOST 80.

By the way I forgot to mention this regarding competitions, LW's competitions rock Oh and the incoming of the Idea agency which I think he might have approved... its not only giving a chance for kids to join in but also a slight insight on dealing with common adolescent problems. (No I'm not supporting LW, just stating my opinion).

I'm quite certain badges started recently... Weren't the first badges Room Raider (Visiting xx no. of rooms that don't belong to you) and shiz? Especially because I remember a quote on someone saying "Bucho told me that the new button is something to keep and eye out for!" well.. something along the lines.

I find alot of people saying "The old hotel was better" not with supporting facts but just to be part of the "We're old skool and we're cool" campaign.

Quite frankly, recently only did I find with the rapid release of new varying rares that people are accepting the "New Management".


ALSO! Bucho and LW .. well Bucho mainly tries to be an ice breaker and joke around alot. Maybe I never paid attention before or something but I'd say that the new management and staff are more communicative with players? (Flynn 5000 or whatever and that guy that made christmas decorations and a video on how to cut a piece of paper and glue it together.. don't ask me names!,etc)


For the record by the way... on the lines of scripting.. PLEASE don't quote or think I know much about scripting.. I'll flat out admit I just read on things doesn't mean I know how to or can do it! I could probably be wrong on SOME things!

Then it quieted down a little bit when callie was beginning of Lost_witness, came back up when they did the total overhaul of the catalog and everything, such as camera erroring and nude habbo pictures, and has finally quieted back down again because of Jeax getting arrested and everyone closing down their scripting website besides shenk.

When I joined habbo in '04 she came to my room and gave me furni. She just told me about the hotel and always checked up on me then she left.. I think she was really nice

I can't help but think that the scripting aspect of everyone's arguments in this thread are irrelevant. Regardless of who was hotel manager the exploits were still there. It's not as if being hotel manager comes hand in hand with scanning through pages of code looking for exploits so they can be prevented. It is out of the hotel managers' hands.

What the original comment meant was that callie was remembered as a victim as that's (roughly) when scripting went more mainstream and people targeted Callie's rooms (ie: shopping hall bathroom, spinning dog ball etc etc)

That and they stopped the basic camera function altogether Don't forget that it didn't only wreck havoc in the UK.
