Lol i was watching Maury the over day and this couple who had been married for 9 years and had two kids found out there were brother and sisters after a DNA test proved there were related.

In a case like that I don't see anything wrong morally. The fact that they were raised independantly and fell in love as if they weren't siblings outwieghs the fact that they are related, putting all health issues aside.

hard one. obviously most people are going to be like errr incest it's much more minging than gay marriage but in asian countries it's not rare for cousins to marry each other to keep wealth in the family.

The chances of 1st generation incest (ie: a brother and sister having kids) causing disabilities is exactly the same as any other coupling, 2nd generation incest (ie: a brother and sister have a son and daughter, the son and daughter then have kids) is only as dangerous as a woman in her 40s having a child and then it obviously deteriorates to more dangerous degrees from there, but I don't expect many people have traditions of breeding children for breeding for breeding for breeding etc, it would usually be a one-off thing.

not necessarily. i wish i could find a link about this family i learned about in a class i had a few years ago, ive been googling but its hard to know what to search. anyway, theres basically a big family with their own church that believes they are the direct decedents of jesus christ, thus require that they interbred to preserve their blood. theres a lot of "one-off things" in the world probably, but im sure that a good portion of incest in the world is family or religion based.

while i might be jumping the gun here, if you're willing to practice incest, it is most definitely due to your conditioning or you have a mental illness. i cant really imagine a mentally stable man growing up in a normal home, going to school and gaining friends, then settling down and starting a family with his sister. if youre going to bang your sister, there's probably a disturbance in that story. on the other hand, it's fair to say that homosexuals come from all over the spectrum. you can grow up with a father who believes the bible word for word and a mother who doesnt know what the internet is and become a flaming homosexual. it happens.

the frustrating thing about this debate is that we don't really fully understand the nature of incest or homosexuality. we dont really know if either decisions are a choice or genetics or conditioning or exactly what, so it's difficult to argue peoples' logic and mindset.

What if someone's attracted to their brother/sister/mum/dad/whatever? They can't "help" that either so you should be for it going by your logic
