A fir tree has reportedly been found growing inside a man's lung during surgery for suspected cancer in Russia.
The 5cm sapling was discovered by surgeons when they operated on Artyom Sidorkin, 28, to remove what they thought was a tumour, according Russian television reports.
Vladimir Kamashev, one of the surgeons operating of Sidorkin, said he was "shocked" when he cut into Sidorkin's lungs during the routine operation and discovered a small fir tree inside.

It is true. I watch Russian news quite a lot and it is actually true. I was gonna post this but figured out not many people would belive me and I had no proof in English

I have seen a picture of it and yes it is indeed real, as it is a fir tree it has managed to survive but the picture showed the leaves were not a healthy colour as normal fir tree leaves are. Fir Trees are very habitable and can grow in very strange conditions which other trees such as poplars, oaks and so on could not. I guess its one of those strange stories.
