It's worrying when you have professionals saying this.

"They're also trying to make sure people understand there could be a much greater spread of this virus, and that it may bring fatalities."

So far, the only reported deaths from the infection have been in Mexico, while the cases in the US appear to be milder.

"It's possible that the US infections are among younger people - whereas it's young adults who are more vulnerable," reported Milam.

"That's something which worries scientists because they know the pandemic of 1918 affected largely those in the young adult population.

"It's one of the many things worrying doctors - and why there is such a rush to get some answers."

I guess everyones just being overcautious (granded thats better than being not cautious enough) but I still think its being blown out of proportion. I think dan2nd said it best when he said, in media bad news is good news.

The world is overpopulated anyways, let's hope it knocks off a few hundred million.

Atleast finally they have advised people NOT to travel to Mexico.

To plank: It's said 103 have died from the Swine Flu.

EDIT: Suspected Swine Flu Case In Manchester
Jesus, you hype everything up so much.

Of the 103 deaths in Mexico, only 20 are so far confirmed to have been caused by the new virus.

If you've got a problem with that then you should ignore me then?

I didn't say for sure there was, I said 'it was said'.
