Ours got updated today, working perfectly so far + its easy to use for people with a brain

Interfaces should be usable for people "without" a brain too though.

You should be able to get everywhere in two or three clicks.

We finally got Sky HD on saturday, still have the old menu though

If you have Sky Anytime (need Sky+ for it), there is a video on the new guide.

If not:

The information button functionality with programs on other channels or later on is good. In the old guide you can only get information on the thing you are watching, or in the Sky Guide itself. Though I don't like how beefy this new guide is, the lag it suffers sometimes is a bit horrific.
