I can't help thinking it should be the Graphics Team doing the banners, but still nice updates

It is likely that if 'Spam Bans' are successful we will consider rolling Forum Specific bans out across the board.

Nice updates but some of them are just petty, like adding the the other word to the avoiding the filter, I think it was pretty clear before :S but yeah.

It's just to show that abbreviated swearing isn't allowed either I guess, it's less obvious than full on effing and blinding

I don't see why it should be limited to just graphics staff if other users want a hand at it, I know plenty of pixel artists and graphics people who aren't staff so no sense in not getting a wide range of attempts

Good changes. I like the new reputation blocks and I love to see that everyone can participate in making the new banners rather than having the same people make them. I'm sure there are lots of talented pixel artists who don't want to/have the time to be fully committed staff but are more than capable of making a decent banner so good decision.

Hope to see more in the up and coming weeks

Traditionally, with the exception of holiday banners the main forum banners have often been made by members of the community, given that its such a large part of the forums its just something we've done in the past and I wanted to bring it back because I think its a nice touch.

Graphics staff are more than welcome to compete and I would say even have an advantage since they've designed banners for Habbox in the past
