Its not about abiding by the law, it just concerns me that certain people are meant to be forum moderators yet they are breaking rules themselves.

Trying to condescend just for having a bit more decency than you? EA are a business that offers a service which produces games that entertain us. They spend their money, they and invest their time and effort into making a really good product that we will like. Sure they sell it at a price which asks for a profit, so does every business that isn't a charity. Who are you to simply get the game for free? Do you think that EA will continue to produce great games if everyone just downloads it for free? It's ridiculous in my opinion.

The rules of the forum aren't the law, they are two completely different things, in no way does it matter whether a moderator talks or 'promotes' pirated software, it doesn't mean they are breaking the rules because it is not in the rules

Of course they will still make great games, anything can be cracked, they know that and they took that risk, they wouldn't of started making games if they were going to just giveup because people download them for free.
