I don't use Runescape any more but I am sure a 'pure' account is an account that focuses on one skill or a collection of related skills i.e. combat? If he started woodcutting and fishing etc then it would not be a pure. Correct me if I am wrong!

it would still be a pure, just with some money making levels to prove he made money on that account instead of trading it over from another account.
