Explain how the 360 online is any better to be quite frank, its not slugish and crap for me at all? I can load up COD5 and be in a game within seconds. For me it was the otherway round, whenever I went round my bro's house I would always be on his PS3, thats what made me get my own.

For the £30-40 a year your paying for xbox live (£3 or so a month) you get better quality of service such as Party chat,Very quick very stable matchmaking, Easily navigatable menus,Better ambiance online

I tryed cod4 and cod5 on my ps3 other day when my mate was round, took me more than 2 minutes to get into a game, dont say its my internet because the xbox is around 15-20 seconds, i played roughly 5-10 games all seperate as i left the lobbie after each one and out of the 30-40 people i played with, about 7 had headsets and only one spoke and it was to say hes gonna "own" everyone

I must be lucky or something because in the 4 years i have had my 360 Core ive not had any problems, neither had my cousin, and we play on them nearly everyday, My arcade hasnt had any problems either, i am sure my Resident evil 5 Elite wont have any problems when it comes to my birthday

That's weird, because mine takes 7 seconds from lobby to deathmatch..
Stop saying it's better online, because that doesn't make the console any better.. Just because it loads faster doesn't mean it's necessarily better, cause it's most likely worse graphics.

What absolute nonsense. Not only is it pedantic by correcting him by saying '7 seconds' (Did you get out the stopwatch pfft? And it would have to be an average anyway).

Online play does make a console better/worse. I'm not saying Xbox Live is better (IMO it is but that's not my point) but online play is a huge factor when comparing consoles.

And so what if the graphics are better (I'm not getting into this debate either), the whole point of having this comparison of consoles is to weigh up the advantages and disadvantages.
