Lightbulb [TUT] Game in 3D for as little as £2!

You may have seen those £100 Nvidia 3d sets for 3D gaming which also require you to spend an extra £300 or so on a special hardware screen.

On youtube I discovered a way of gaming in 3d which is just as good for a fraction of the price!

First step: Order your 3d glasses off ebay if you don't already own some, I reccommend going for red/blue(cyan). I purchased a 5 pack of cardboard ones from This Seller which arrived 2 weeks later.

Second step: Go to This page to download the 3d drivers.

Third step: Install the drivers only and choose anaglyph then the colours of your 3d glasses (if you have red/blue(cyan) then go for the normal option and not the optimised one)

Fourth step: Click help and make sure the dynamic test works in 3d with your glasses when you click on it. This may often not work at first and fiddling around first time does help. Don't worry about the static test, this is for testing 3d hardware monitors.

Fith step: Load up your game and press the * key on your numpad to activate the 3d. Use the + and - keys on your numpad to adjust the 3d settings to suit your eyes and to make sure you can have it as 3d as possible without there being any additional colour around the edge of your picture.

This should work with all DirectX games although be sure your video settings are put down a little if your graphics card isn't able to render 2 sets of images at high framerates.
If it still doesn't work try the basics such as restarting your pc etc and if you still have problems you can check the household hacker version of this tutorial on youtube

    Happy 3D gaming! :eusa_danc

Thats false information. You buy the screen for around £200, install the drivers and your done.

Not since the last time I checked. Maybe you're living in a fantasy world where the dollar is worth nothing or something.

I was going by your pricing, by which apparently they sell them seperatly But I know for a fact you can get monitors that do it.
