I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
Not really much point in making a new thread,
Do it.
Yes. Take advantage of whatever Student discounts you can get if that applies.
Just buy the MacBook. Accessories you can get elsewhere much cheaper and upgrades such as RAM you can do yourself for half the cost. Obviously processor etc you have to buy already like that from Apple.

Go for it. I find the 13" a great size, looks small in the shops but when you get it home it seems bigger - if you know what I mean..
Another thing to consider is the AppleCare Plan, usually £200 or around that mark - when I bought my MacBook I got it for £47 (Uni Student Discount), which is nothing really considering for how long it lasts.
When did I say you wanted a white one? When you put MacBook Pro in the thread title one assumes you are referring to the unibody MacBook Pro series rather than the "white one".
And I still stand by what I said. Apple charge you $100 to upgrade to 4GB RAM when you can do it yourself for around $60 and then you have the old 2GB RAM to sell or keep.

I personally found the 13" too small, so I went for a 15", but go for it if you feel comfortable with it.

Yeah it's kinda small but it depends what you're doing with it. I'm planning on using mine as a desktop computer at home (just need enough money for monitor, cables & a keyboard and mouse) and using it as a laptop for college. Spaces comes in quite handy if you're worrying about space.![]()
