Probably not really. I don't think it's worth the extra anyways, unless you do a lot of CPU intensive stuff on it.

    It's $150 more than a comparably equipped 2.26..

The decision was so much easier when one didn't have the back lit keyboard and the other one did..

$150 more to go from a 2.26 to a 2.53 is no way worth it in my opinion. If it was $50 more it would be tempting, but not $150.

    UPDATE:

I am going to order my MacBook today. I went to the Roosevelt Apple Store in Garden City but they didn't have the one I wanted. I am going to get a 13" MacBook Pro because I think it's plenty big for me and if it's not, I can buy a 24" HP LCD monitor for less than $300.

They have a deal on for students, you buy a Mac and you get a free iPod Touch, or $229 off a 120GB iPod Classic. I'm going to order the iPod Classic and probably sell it to one of my brothers. Also, Apple has another deal on printers, if you buy a Mac, you get $100 off a printer. I am going to order a Canon PIXMA MX330, and that's only $110, so essentially it's a $10 printer.

I found the 13" plenty big enough, not too small to stop you from using it properly but not too big to stop it being very very portable, now I have a 13" MB it's put me off getting a netbook because I now see how small they are
