It is an interesting debate on how you define gay as people say it is emotional as well as what you are attracted to. I have read and read on it (sort of confused myself, or in denial) and it swaps between the two. I guess the question is; if you 'think' about guys when doing 'it' and guys only, does that mean your gay?

The answer is probably yes, although I think with myself I am not ready to accept that yet, for now at least. One in ten people are gay so it is not as if you are alone, as people start leaving school and so on, they start showing their true personalities and usually you will then be able to see who is gay and who isn't - because lets face it, gay guys are slightly more camp and in some cases are very camp.

People say it is genes, others say it is your enviroment. In my opinion its all genes, because what you like when your younger from football etc will have an effect on your enviroment, of course it will. Then again, you also then have gay guys who are into football.

Being in denial is a very common phase when you're gay, I went through it myself. Soon enough though you realise you can't actually change anything, its like a hair colour or anything, its not up for change. To be fair being attracted to men and looking at gay porns (however many gay porns you like watching) sounds pretty homo, but you could just be going through a phase. Who knows, only you can determine your sexuality as who knows yourself better than you?

I don't think checking out guys is very gay imo.

I mean, if you are at a beach or something and see a hot chick with a guy, you look to see what the guy looks like? You look to see if they have a 6 pack or are muscular..

I don't think it's environment, to begin with I was brought up with my dad and two brothers and I still loved all girly things, I've never liked football and neither has my brother. My eldest brother likes football, gaming and "boy stuff", everyone always thought he was the gay one where as my other brother wasn't ever into sports, gaming or going out. They've both now had relationships and both currently in one, it's not environment at all, I think it's something you're born with and you slowly find out and accept it.

You can change a hair colour I don't think looking at gay porn makes you gay at all unless you know you are, it's curiosity and it doesn't mean you're definitely gay, if you can find a man you can be attracted to emotionally and sexually then you probably do like men, if you can find a woman you're attracted to emotionally and sexually aswell as a man then you're probably bi.

Not necessarily, you can be attracted to both men and women at a young age but that's usually just a phase, the amount of people I see online claiming they're bi is stupid :S I know 3 people irl that are bi and they're all girls and it was very hard for them to come out and where i'm from if you're bi you're like a totally different species, so I don't understand how loads of people can "come out" online, even though some would argue it's because no-one knows you online but then again the majority of those who say they are bi always boast about their sexual relationships with other men/women  when I doubt half even come out irl or are just attention seekers.

this thread was ******** from the start and not very funny so i'll leave it at that :S

Yeah I know, half the people on this forum who claim to be bi or gay don't even come out irl and end up having hetro relationships, I still don't see the point in lying for attention though.
    I love it when you
    flex like that

Innit I meant not like your hair colour TYPO. Well I think looking at gay porn out of curiosity doesn't necessarily make you gay, but if you get off over it then I think that might be a bit excessive for curiosity (not suggesting that he ever did say that, even though it was a joke).

Edit: Oh this thread was closed... my bad
