Citing an unnamed source, La Presse reported that Gillett has an agreement in principle with the Molsons, and the sale price is well over $500 million.

It can only be good, unless he's going bankrupt and needs to clear debt, which would mean nothing for Liverpool. Could this please be money for the signing of David Villa? I rate him so much and I really want to see him playing in the PL week in and week out, cause he is amazing.

You watched him in the confed cup? Helluva finish after fluffing a penalty.

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is keen to bring striker Lomana LuaLua back to the Premier League after his stint with Qatar side Al-Arabi.

"LuaLua scored just five goals in 59 games for the Toon before moving to Portsmouth and then on to Greek side Olympiakos in August 2007. "

ok, 1. old newcastle players bruce? really? did he see chopra in the derby?
    2. if we want a striker who will score 1 goal in 12 games we might as well put murphy upfront.

I think some of you would like to see this, especially the utd fans.

Bringing in those four players would make utd formidable.

Would be a great signing, rate him HIGHLY, Ebanks-blake + Doyle up front? what a combination. And with Iwelumo, Vokes, and Keogh in back up (not to mention if we keep Harewood, haven't we got enough strikers? LOL)

Bit pricey though at 6.5M, would be a club record, but hey, we need to spend the money if were gonna stay up.

Santa Cruz undergoing the City medical. Why more strikers?
