I know we need defenders, but if you could have lots of world class strikers waiting on the bench to be played, i would.

I wouldn't. He's wasting money on players that he doesn't need, and on top of that he has to pay these 'world class' strikers that are on the bench Hundreds of thousands a week for doing nothing. Man City are worse than Chelsea and the managers an idiot to be honest.
Yet real Madrid are allowed to spend £130M on Kaka and Ronaldo, and try and sign David Villa and Ribery for around £100M? please, give me a break, if City are getting this much stick for trying to establish themselves and trying to build a legacy, then Real Madrid should be closed down? they've already got the sex-factor and the legend status that all big clubs need, so you're argument is totally irrelevant, I respect City for going out their, buying the players, and actually trying to get into the top four. Much respect to 'em.
Now stop with your idiotic argument.

Yet again trying to cause arguements I see. I'm not arguing am I? I'm just stating my opinion. And yes but at least Real Madrid are building a good all rounded squad. I'm not saying Man City shouldn't spend the money if they have it but there wasting it on players they don't need. Real Madrid are buying 3 Mid-fielders and 1 Striker, all world class and all players they can use in there first team. Seriously, would you stop causing arguements and if you want to argue with me then PM me. -Rep if I could but I've already done it a few days ago.
Isnt it wierd the way torres keeps going on about villa, dont you think if villa was seriously guna stay in the spanish league torres would give up. They must talk about it on international duty.
Ok, thats confused me a little now?Yet again trying to cause arguements I see. I'm not arguing am I? I'm just stating my opinion. Explain to me how Eto'o, Tevez, Santa Cruz, Barry and Scott Taylor would be a waste for City and 'players they don't need'? If you haven't realised, we haven't exactly got a goal scoring striker, and if we are aiming for a top six finish next season, we are going to need a much more powerful squad, as the squad we currently have is not good enough to challenge the likes the top four and Everton and Villa. Also all these players but Scott Taylor would be used in most of our matches and would actually be very valuable for our squad and not a 'waste'.
Who's Scott Taylor?
He's not complaining that City are spending money, rather how they are spending it. You seem to be arguing the case of throwing money at a wall and seeing if it sticks, whereas he thinks City need to consider this spending more and be a bit more clever.Yet real Madrid are allowed to spend £130M on Kaka and Ronaldo, and try and sign David Villa and Ribery for around £100M? please, give me a break, if City are getting this much stick for trying to establish themselves and trying to build a legacy, then Real Madrid should be closed down? they've already got the sex-factor and the legend status that all big clubs need, so you're argument is totally irrelevant, I respect City for going out their, buying the players, and actually trying to get into the top four. Eto'o, Santa Cruz - More strikers, who are possibly past their prime? I thought you wanted a squad to become a fixed top four (or atleast top 6) side? Surely then you need young talent.Ok, thats confused me a little now?

Tevez - You have plenty of strikers anyway.
Barry - Midfield? Kompany, De Jong, Ireland, Elano, Johnson, SWP and then Barry? Hope you have a comfy bench at Eastlands.
"Scott" Taylor - You have Given and youd rather play Taylor? Or you'd rather send Hart to Brum to have Taylor as back up?
You haven't got a goalscorer? Robinho not doing it for you then?
Stuart's brother, I think.
Eto'o will reject city.
