If its a competition, then they could ahve thought of a bit of a better name, especially seeing as they're nick naming it HC which is associated with Habo Club.

I still think they're just re-branding it and trying to get more people to join by making it look fabulous, and doing competitions etc. to promote it.

As someone mentioned is a play on The OC (Orange County) and also a play on Habbo Club. Not a rebranding, just a chance for them to spin a new America-themed comp and re-release Diner furni.
