These little green things

Well there little and green, and they smell, like if you touch it it leaves a strong smell on your hand.
They have like a shell on its back.
Does anyone know what they are, iv though they were grasshoppers at first but grasshoppers are bigger and not the size of your nail.

don't have a clue, google like green insect on images look for one of the things you're on about click on it and post it at least! or when you click the image, it'll probs tell you name.

This reminds me of my Mr.Bean sticker book, years ago!You scratch it and it releases the smell, it stinks bad! I'll try find out if I can.
