All fair and well, but what's the point of having those speeds if Virgin do alot of searching for illegal downloading? They're one of the worst companies for it.

We've just tested your line and can confirm your line supports the UK's most complete broadband package, BT Total Broadband. We estimate your maximum connection speed to be up to 6.0 Mbps (Megabits per second).

althought it does get really low sometimes, when we got it they done a test on the line they said we could get 8 seems to say 6 now. Ring sky get them to test your line?

No, it clearly states on Sky.com you can get up to (up to being the key words) 20mb. Your service is fine and is just a limitation of slow asdl.

I pay for up to 50mbps, I get 50mbps, one of the glories of being on FTTC.

I wondered how long it was until Jewishbear came and showed off about his 50 mb connection.

The point of having virgin is for fast internet thats reliable and you actually get the speeds it says.

Unlike some people i dont usually download illegal files so its not a problem for me.

Shame I can't get Virgin in East London

Lol, it's constantly changing and really pissing me off.

That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.
