or like the majority of people who build custom pc's rip the OS for free....

Actually the huge majority of system builders just use legally brought copys. The additional trouble with cracked software and operating systems just isnt worth the hassle once you end up in a real job. Unless your time truly is worthless, the 5 hours (or more) or so you may have spent fixing and work around bugs over the next year or 2, would easily have paid the full legal fee had you actually been working those hours themselves.

Time is money, and if you can get good money for your time, theres little reason to waste it to save a few quid on some software "/

Or you could just torrent a cracked version of Vista, I downloaded an uncracked but had a legal serial code so meh... Just look around really, I got my OS (Windows Vista Ultimate) for free thanks to Jamesy and Berch, you just gotta look around and theres usually someone who will help you out.

But how can I download an OS from the Internet, when I won't have the internet to download it in the first place?

Do it on the computer you're using now

I'd preorder Windows 7 and use the RC until it comes out. Its as stable as any other OS I've used

Cheers. I wasn't being completely dumb, just things like 'burning it on a disc' seem to simple to be true haha

Yeah most things with computers are pretty hard to do LOL, installing OS' honestly aint that bad though.
