    Maybe the radio player should be JWPlayer or something (hidden of course) so that people don't need that Firefox plugin and it's cross-browser compatible. You could just edit the current play and stop buttons to work with JWPlayer and set it to autoplay.

    Anyway, dunno if you want to add it but, shoutcast compatible JWPlayer code:

    Code:
    <script type='text/javascript' src='URL TO SWFOBJECT.JS'></script>

      <div id='playerflash'>Hello I am a div, player will be here.</div>

      <script type='text/javascript'>
      var s1 = new SWFObject('URL TO JWPLAYER SWF','ply','470','20','9','#ffffff');
      s1.addParam('allowfullscreen','true');
      s1.addParam('allowscriptaccess','always');
      s1.addParam('wmode','opaque');
      s1.addVariable('file', encodeURIComponent('http://SHOUTCAST IP:SHOUTCAST PORT/;stream.nsv'));
      s1.addVariable('type', 'sound');
      s1.addVariable('autostart', 'true');
      s1.write('playerflash');
    </script>

    We'll look into it its the whole keeping the radio playing whilst navigation through pages which really lets joomla down.

    I assume the current radio player is in a frame? If so, just replace it with that, and use JWPlayers SENDEVENT (I think it's that) function to stop/play or whatever it is you do.

    I also agree about the 2 big Habbo's Maybe a logo / small Habbox banner there and then in the bit which has the same Habbox banner but keeps flashing should be the site rotator?....

    I agree..what happened to Habbox being Orange/Gold + Silver
    The navigation seems to be an arguing point, some people like it and others dont it's one of those funny ones. The blue footer should have banners moving along it - that just hasn't been fully completed yet by the looks of it.

    Yeah the two Habbo's is another thing we're not 100% sure about. As for the rotator that is going to be a site rotator for a range of banners and its not the same Habbox banner, it was just a few different Habbox banners rotating (for the time being), I guess.

    I'm glad many of you like the change. Personally I feel it's a big improvement on the last layout. We'll do our best to correct the problems which most of you seem to agree are ruining the layout.

    Thanks for everyone who has given feedback so far.

    And your reasons for that? I respect your opinion but unless you give us some indication what the problems are with the current layout we'll never be able to fix them. Thanks for your feedback anyway.

    The big talk of Version 5 is that? It's crap. I prefer the old one.

    The navigation is just pure awful. The blue footer is awful. The 2 big habbo's in the header spoil the design big time ans the login navigation is just awful.

    What a let down in my opinion.

    Firstly thanks for your feedback. Again I respect your opinion if you do feel the layout is awful however as commented the blue footer will be used for scrolling banners and the 2 big habbos may be reconsidered and changed, possibly. What is awful about the login navigation? Fair enough if you dislike the actual navigation - that was something that was debated during the production stages and another thing about the layout that could possibly change now we have actual feedback. However you've only mentioned a number of minor issues really that can be corrected. If some of these were changed do you think the layout would be no longer "awful" or are there other elements you dislike? What about the general style/theme of the layout? Anyway thanks for your feedback and hopefully we can act on it to improve the layout.

    Overall, I prefer it to the old one, but like others have said I don't like the zoomed in Habbos.

    I also think the top banner area takes up far too much room, meaning you have to scroll further to get the navigation. I don't really like the banners either, they look far too 'busy' compared to the simplistic layout and area below it.

    I like the multicoloured navigator, the frames around the edges of things which have rounded corners and a nice orange colour.

    I don't like the news stories videos, it just looks like a random black square. In the videos themselves, I think the gaps between each line are too long, because I find myself waiting a few seconds before the next line appears.

    I think the login boxes at the top should be rounded off like the 'search' box is on the top right.

    I don't really like this bit at the bottom, all squashed up and then the page 1 of 261 in a large font.

    "«StartPrev12345678910NextEnd»

    Page 1 of 261"

    So overall, I like everything below the top of the navigator/welcome to habbox title/date, and above 'more articles' bit.

    The news story videos is something we're working on. I agree the black square is not appealing - it's something I flagged up with Mrs.McCall only a number of days ago. Myself and the News Department are working hard to improve this design so it has a nicer feel and fits in with the layout.

    I think the rounding off is a good point actually to keep everything looking the same style. As for the numbers at the bottom that's another point - I agree that should be looked at.

    Once again we're going to be changing the banner rotator in the coming days as well as considering what to do with the Habbo heads which you (and quite a few others) have disagreed with as part of the design. Hopefully we can try to improve the layout considerably for you guys. I'm glad you like the navigation and I do see your point when it comes to having to scroll down to get to it.

    It's good that you think the layout is an improvement on the old one - that was our most important goal anyway. Thanks for some really helpful feedback.
