Fan site ideas.

Would have ut it int he other section but seeing as is anime based put it in here,

So im thinking about building a fan site for One Piece, since there seems to be a lack of them. im wanting to build it like http://www.daizex.com/ but im on the planning stages at the moment and deciding what features and stuff to have on the site.

So if you were to visit a site of a series you like what would you like to see? what features would you want.

So far ive been told to add
A Forum, Episode/Chapter Guide, Dvd Guide, Game database, Panda Man Guide, Music database, Film Guide, Character Bios, Amv Page.

So i dunno what else to add. so any ideas?

Im thinking of opening a dub and sub site, TIll take ages to get all episodes and upload them or like put a box and video on the site,

I think a general anime fan site not based around One Piece and run by people who use the anime section would be a better idea.

no, Ill post up links for people to download them when they are released but thats it. i suppourt Funimation with one piece. and they will be streaming episodes 1 hr after they have aired (tho US people only. need to find out how to by pass it again ) but yes. Im wanting to get a large user base and then contact Funimation. because they like to give sites dvds to review so i want OP dvds for free . But it needs to get popular tho.

and i wouldnt. they episodes will just get taken down where ever you upload them. so youll be wasting time uploading them and reuploading them. only thing ill have uploaded to my site will be OP'S ED'S Trailers. And some clips. not full episodes.

Im doing One Piece. Been wanting to for ages. But the General Site could be another idea.. tho who would pay for the hosting etc. then who would actually be involved in the making and running of the site.

Plus the fact theres lots of general site so you would have to put alot of effort into it

There's enough of us to do it mate.

Obviously the hosting would have to be discussed, but you could assign each person a certain category in which they need to maintain - fanart, Openings, OSTs, reviews and maybe eventually turn it into a streaming site.

Could work tho no streams apart from opening endings. Just provide the links or torrents for downloads.

That would be great. I've never come across a site dedicated to anime openings and endings before, and I just realised today that the rs board on 4chan has loads of links to creditless openings and endings.

I also found another good download site that had links to a soundtrack I've been looking for for years! http://www.frameworkmx.com/ There is loads of stuff on there.

An anime music/j-music radio might be another good thing to add to the site. There doesn't have to be any presenters, just a playlist.

could do. OP/ED site would be easier i suppose. then have a link to the single or what not.
