I don't know what you mean by future GMs. You're going to be here for ever:@:@:@Sorry I never made this clear, this is intended as a permanant thing. It was released as a HabboxForum fifth birthday thing, however in my view anyone who sticks around for five years (and didn't get banned along the way losing their original account) deserves the VIP.
So whenever you hit your fifth Habbox birthday you can PM me and I will give you the VIP. It will probably eventually shift to the responsibility of VIP managers but I hope that future GMs will continue the tradition. I'm trying to find a way to automate it so that it never gets lost, or at the very least a PM to users on their fifth Habbox birthday that congratulates them, thanks them, and offers the VIP.
We got any vB whizzes in the house?
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
September 29th, here I come.
Jin isn't entitled to leave...
Not much longer for me, pretty gold name excites me.
Harsh on the no banned accounts clause. Just becuse some of the disputes we entered ended in ban's doesnt mean we havent been here through habbox's big ups and downs.
I'm pretty sure half the old bans would not have happened in the current situation, i say that being a member who has been banned for proving a super mod wrong on a basic biological fact and for quoteing a post made by jrh2002 becuse it contained the fact habboxforum was actually making a pretty comfy profit (unlike now under the new no premium services rule)
Personally i think all accounts that have been registered for 4 years and are perm should be unperm![]()
Kinda agree, although i'd say that they should just allow members who have been on habbox over 4/5 years to combine all there accounts together regardless of bans on them. The fact they are still here proves they were banned over a single incident have are not repeat offenders.
Theres no real downside to doing this, as members who have been here a while are rewarded for there continued contributions by finally being able to keep all there posts and info on one account, and habbox can get rid of some of the banned accounts littering the forum db.
Theres no advantage in keeping em banned, and any punishment idea has long outlived any usefulness "/
i got my first account merged with my second account, but then i had this account left so they didnt merge all 3, my 1st account is perm banned for second chance, as i originally got perm for posting a image that was spoofed (not that i knew off) then i got unbanned second chance with MAD and then got perm for 4 infractions >.>
Most my bans were over turned, only one that stuck was for quoting jsh2002 as it was by sierk and hes still the big boss, so no one will challenge it. I wasn't active during the implementation of the no reviews of old bans so now its kinda stuck, pointlessly. (i've been told if it were not banned, merging may be a possibility)i got my first account merged with my second account, but then i had this account left so they didnt merge all 3, my 1st account is perm banned for second chance, as i originally got perm for posting a image that was spoofed (not that i knew off) then i got unbanned second chance with MAD and then got perm for 4 infractions >.>
Theres no real meaning in bans that old, as it isnt stopping me from doing anything. All it does is wastes space in the db, and means i cant search my old posts very easily "/ I duno, it just seems like a vague annoyance maintained without any real cause any more. Since perm bans aint perm for a user, there kinda meaningless to start, 1/2 years is a pretty harsh punishment, but unlimited is just pointless.
I think there should be a freash-hold where active users can have there old accounts unbanned and merged, even if it is 3/4/5 or so years.
