The old one didn't have ridiculous rules in, and it's been around for such a long time. It would be a huge shame to close it for no reason.

It's about the people actually not the photography.

It wasn't fine before, that thread has always been a problem, have you not seen the first post recently? It's been closed multiple times due to arguing etc, if we didn't allow off topic posting the arguing wouldn't happen.

I don't see how asking people to "post on topic" is ridiculous.
