iPhone 2g vs iPhone 3g?

3G is the signal. 3G is a lot faster when on the internet on the iPhone. I have a Blackberry that isn't 3G and the internet is pretty slow compared to the iPhone 3G.

I'd get a new iPhone 3G they aren't that expensive anymore as it is, so £100 for the original would be a waste.

Depends what you want in terms of a contract.

If you actually didn't plan on getting a contract you might as well get the iPod touch....
