Only cheap cars over here actually have antennas these days. My Honda has a small, body colored square box on the roof that I assume houses the GPS and radio antenna. My work car is a 2008 Highlander and the antenna is on the glass and in the options package they refer to it as a "diversity antenna". My moms S550 has a fin on the roof I think, but I'm not sure? I'm sure you can get a fin type antenna on eBay, try there if not, do like Garion's uncle and steal one!

My moms car has hers in the back glass with the back de-icing heaters.

My truck has an antenna, and it sucks. It rattles, pretty much cause it's a diesel.. but it still sucks

Yeah, thats a diversity antenna! What kind of car is it?

Also, my friend has a diesel Dodge Ram and I went to drive it I started it up and then it quit, apparently you have to rev the engine or it will cut out? Is it the same in all diesel trucks or was there something wrong with this one?
