No. If he's got a release clause in his contract for 50 mill, then United obviously value Berba at 15 - 20 mill....

Well seen as no one has posted;
http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...473679,00.htmlAston Villa have completed the signing of Fabian Delph from Leeds United for an undisclosed fee.
The England Under 21 international has produced some sparkling performances for Leeds in recent years and is regarded as an exciting prospect for the future.
A number of Premier League clubs were interested in securing his services and Manchester City appeared to be leading the chase over the weekend when Mark Hughes spoke about his admiration for the player.
However, Villa quickly moved ahead of their rivals and have now finalised a transfer after Delphunderwent a medical and agreed personal terms.
Details of the deal have not been revealed but it is believed the fee could be worth up to £8million with add-ons.
Martin O'Neill has a reputation for bringing through youngsters and Delph will be hoping he can also make an impact in the Premier League.
Not quite sure on this kid, spent £6 million + add ons for a league 1 player :|
I think he'll be a great signing.
I admire Martin, great manager, always bringing in English players who are always good.
A replacement for fergie me thinks.
Aguero's release fee is £45.5m.
If Fergie was going to offer £35m and Berbatov as you said, that means Fergie values Berbatov as £10.5m as simple maths equates that £45.5m takeaway £35m equals £10.5m
According to SSN, AM won't sell him unless it's an offer of over £50 Million or more. £35 Million cash and Berbatov would value him in excess of £15 Million.
I love how they rate Aguero higher than Torres and Torres is much better.
.
It shows what crap SSN put out there. If his release clause is 45.5mil, United can just pay that and get him.
In a sale, the club that possesses the player agrees a deal with the players suitor to sell them for a price. However, in the player's contract will be a release fee. This means if the player's suitor can pay the fee, only the player and the suitor need to agree. So basically, if United pay the 45m for him, AM cannot stand in his way. which is why Barca have just renegotiated Messi's contract to contain a 200m release fee, to put im out of limits for every club on the planet really.
Aguero is 5 years younger and is tipped to become one of the best players in the world when he peaks which is still not for another 5 years, and Torres is in his peak now hence why at the moment he is better. That along with the inflated market means he is currently worth more than Torres yes, even if at the moment he is not as good of a player.
EDIT: As for post above, His release fee is more than £45 Mill I think, and also if they want to offer £45 Million cash or w/e his release fee is then yes, AM Have to sell him depending on if Aguero wants to leave or not. However, they haven't offered this, they have offered £35 Million cash apparently, and even if they offer that and Berbatov they don't have to sell as they might value Berbatov as worthless to them even though he isn't. Release fee only works with cash, otherwise it is void.

Aguero seems a bit light weight to me, still i'd have him.
