I didn't go because I completely forgot about it but I'm with Jew Bear on this one. They can't predict the future. If anyone thought they knew what the next big website would be then they would have already set a similar one up. It's not really like you can teach entrepreneurialism either.

I didn't go because they left announcing the venue too late, which made my train tickets bump up in price.

The conference wasn't about predicting the future websites. The conference was about hearing/sharing different views on the movement of social media and new media. All of the speakers were young and experienced.

    Jew, your comments are feeble.

Bingo. The conference was meant to inspire young developers and entrepreneurs to create the "next big thing" (through helpful/useful tips given by experienced developers/entrepreneurs).

People like Jew just can't accept that there are better people than him.

Experienced developers that worked on such successful projects as Youmeo? Please.

Give me TB-L and I'd be there every day.

He may be an idiot, but there is no need to be "All of those will have more money than you ever will." that's just an immature argument. Cool it down...

Exactly, yes Like it or not, Youmeo had a large user base and has been featured in several news papers/big blogs/etc. Oh and there was of course several other people speaking such as Jon Wheatley, Nick Bell, Alex Tew, Anna Debenham and Nick Pellant. If you think they aren't experienced or not worth listening to then you have a lot to learn.
