Personally, i'd just like a onclick added to the images that will toggle the resizeing on and off, getting redirected directly to the image is kinda annoying when u just want to see it full size.
Same with the lightbox things. Just fulls size it where it is onclick, and set it back on second click

You can do that, in options change it to 'enlarge in same window'.
